If you loved Genelia and Ram’s jodi in Ready, here’s a good news for you. Genelia and Ram sign up again for a untitled Telugu film which was announced officially yesterday. Film will be directed by Surender Reddy. Film was announced yesterday at a function held at Rama Naidu studios. Muhurat shot was held yesterday at the studios where Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clapboard, Shyam Prasad Reddy switched on the camera and Ravi Teja directed the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion, dialogue writer Kona Venkat said, “The characterization of hero is close to that of personal character of Surender Reddy. We had seen in the recently days how he fought against piracy. I worked with Ram and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore for Ready movie in the past. I am happy that I am working with them again.”

Director Surender Reddy said, “I like energy of Ram. I identify myself with Ram whenever I see him. I am working with Chakri for the first time in my career. This is my fifth film and I can guarantee that this movie will be my best movie. I am also working with Peter Hynes for the first time.”

Story writer Vakkantham Vamsi said, “It’s been 10 months since Kick movie was released. We are taking so much time to make sure that the story came out really well. You will see new Ram in this movie. It is going to be a good movie.”

Sravanthi Ravi Kishore said, “This is my third movie with Ram. It will be mounted on high budget.”

Cinematographer Rasool said, “It is very difficult for any director to work with me for the second time. I am happy that Surender Reddy is doing two back-to-back movies with me after Kick.”

Music director Chakri said, “It is always a challenging job to score music for Ram because his dances tend to dominate music. This is my 3rd movie with Ram and I am sure that I will come up with peppy music.”

Actor Ram said, “I was to work with Surender Reddy after he completed Athidi. But somehow it didn’t happen. I like him for his stylish taking and great technical values. He is up to date with technology. I am very excited to do films continuously for my home banner Sravanthi movies. I feel lucky to have a peddananna like Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. I am glad to be pair up with Genelia again, as our jodi in Ready was appreciated by one and all.”

The regular shooting will start from 1st May. Genelia is currently shooting in Australia for her upcoming Telugu film Orange.

Genelia went to Australia for shooting of Orange Movie – her next Telugu movie. Movie stars Ram Charan Taneja and is being directed by Bhaskar or Bomarillu Bhaskar.

The latest news is that the Supreme Movies has acquired the US theatrical screening rights of ‘Orange’ film for a huge amount. The movie has Genelia and Shazahn Padamsee, a debutant in the female leads. The movie also has technically strong members, Marthand.k.Venkatesh as editor of the film, Peter Hynes handling the fights and Kiran Reddy as cinematographer. Harris Jayraj is scoring the music for the film. K. Naga babu is producing it under the renowned banner ‘Anjana Productions’.

Finally after months of deciding, Ready’s Tamil remake has got a name now. It will be called Uthima Puthiran for the time being.  Film stars Genelia and Dhanush in the lead. Film is being directed by Mitaran Jawahar and produced by Balaji Studios Pvt Ltd.

Movie will be a big budget movie and for the first time Dhanush has turned a lyricst for the film.
