Anybody who has seen Virgin Mobile’s earlier ads knows that its a youth oriented brand. Their plans and schemes were always kept in mind keeping today’s youth. Today, Virgin Mobile Launched its GSM Services in Southern India. And for it, Virgin rightly chose the current youth icon of India – Genelia D’Souza.

Launch was a bit different since Genelia arrived dressed in a red gown with Anil Sardana, Managing Director, Tata Teleservices and M.A. Madhusudan, Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile India in a vintage car (1935 Mercedes) at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore for the launch.

Speaking about Virgin Mobile’s Launch Genelia said, “It’s great that Virgin Mobile has taken this initiative, and I am sure they will do it well. Prior to this launch, Virgin Mobile had just the cdma phones, which has such a demand amongst youth, and I am sure it will be same this time too.” She added, “It’s such a pleasure for me to have been associated with the brand, which caters only to youth. I think the company has spent a lot of time understanding the psyches of today’s youth, which is how the brand has emerged to such an extent.”

Genelia attended the Louis Vuitton Store Launch at Taj Land’s End in Bandra on 18 January with her mother. She was spotted wearing a Louis Vuitton Outfit. Here are pics of her from the event:
